This just made my morning. Cup-based percussion and a lovely voice.
Sometimes, this is what I think makes the Internet great. Just a regular person who happens to be talented, bringing it on home for our enjoyment.
I think he likes it! :o)
Master Chef Mash Up - this is true genius and what YouTube was created for…

Prime Cut of the Day: B3tan Swede Mason masterfully remixes a snippet of MasterChef into a song of Synesthesia.

It’s been a funny old day, I was going to do all sorts and even ducked out of going out to lunch so I could get stuff done. (ha)
I didn’t do much in the end though because when I started to use the printer, I kept getting a message to say that the cartridge was not ‘supported’ even though it IS the correct make and model for my printer, so I tricked it by putting an old one back in….which worked (for now) YAY me!
Then I thought I’d play around by putting some music on my new iPhone which took flipping AGES and AGES! It’s not as if I have any good cd’s anyway but I carried on regardless and eventually, eventually, after much updating, syncing and piddling about, managed to transfer the music to my iPhone…….HALLELUJAH! YAY me…..again!
Feeling rather proud of my persistence in the face of opposition from all things electrical, I was enjoying the music over my headphones when all of a sudden, a track came on that I hadn’t listened to for years ~and WHAM… a big lump developed in my throat and the tears were falling before I knew it.
Memories of my husband came flooding back as if it were just yesterday.
I’ve been a widow for four years and I haven’t had a ‘moment’ like that for quite some time now which just goes to show how powerful music can be.
Music, eh?…..
Ever wondered why so many pop songs sound the same?
The Axis of Awesome know why…………..

Music
by Amy Lowell
The neighbour sits in his window and plays the flute.
From my bed I can hear him,
And the round notes flutter and tap about the room,
And hit against each other,
Blurring to unexpected chords.
It is very beautiful,
With the little flute-notes all about me,
In the darkness.
In the daytime,
The neighbour eats bread and onions with one hand
And copies music with the other.
He is fat and has a bald head,
So I do not look at him,
But run quickly past his window.
There is always the sky to look at,
Or the water in the well!
But when night comes and he plays his flute,
I think of him as a young man,
With gold seals hanging from his watch,
And a blue coat with silver buttons.
As I lie in my bed
The flute-notes push against my ears and lips,
And I go to sleep, dreaming.
