The post by @johninstlo reminded me of a few things.
It seems it’s always easier for people to complain than to compliment, which is why I always try to say nice things to people who wait on me in stores, at banks, or anywhere else.
I still give out my “You’re awesome! Have a great day!” cards…

this is probably better, because it’s much more challenging and I get a better idea of where I’d like to develop so in a way, it’s probably a good thing that last year’s course got cancelled when it did! Every cloud has a silver lining and all that innit? ;-)

I’m really excited cos I’ve never studied having left home at sixteen and working to pay my rent.
